With no time in the morning, applying make-up is low on the totem pole of priorities. Our beauty expert, Jessica Metivier, is going to show you how to get a pretty, put-together look in just five minutes! You'll look like you've spent hours primping instead of dashing out the door.
"On those days when you just don't have time to spare, you still want to be able to put a pretty, polished version of yourself forward," says Jessica. "Using just five items, I promise you can look gorgeous in just five minutes!"
Step one: Using a sponge or clean fingers, apply tinted moisturizer to your entire face. It's OK if you don't have tinted moisturizer, a 50/50 mix of foundation and moisturizer can substitute.
Step two: If you just can't live without under-eye concealer, spot it on after the moisturizer.
Step three: Apply cream cheek and lip stain to the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards along your cheek bone. Next, apply to your lips for a touch of color.
Step four: If needed, apply a light dusting of translucent powder just to your T-zone, which is across your forehead and down the center of your face - this will help to prevent mid-day shine.
Step five: Hold a brown or bronze eyeliner sideways and sweep across the upper lash line, staying close to the lashes. Using your pinkie finger, blot and smudge for a soft, relaxed look.
"A busy, time-crunched morning is no reason for you not to approach the day looking your best," says Jessica. "Five minutes for yourself is all it takes to leave the house looking beautiful and feeling confident!"
