There are many websites out there that can put money back in your pocket.

"Shop at Home" offers online coupons and codes. When you apply them to purchases, you earn a percentage back on the discounted price you pay.

Say you need antivirus software — when you copy and paste the code, the price drops from $90 to $45. Shop at Home will return $18 of those $45 and you'll only pay $27 for a $90 product.

"Ebates" provides rebates at more than 1,200 stores nationwide. The site cuts you a check four times a year. Ebates is also chock full of online coupon codes.

Earn points instead of cash on "My Points" for playing games, searching the web or reading emails. Those points can be redeemed for cash, but you can get gift cards or travel miles if you prefer.

"Inbox Dollars" will give you a $5 credit just for signing up. Like Ebates and My Points, you'll earn money for watching videos, reading emails and trying name-brand products.

"RecycleBank" will give you green for going green. You'll earn points for documenting your steps to be environmentally-friendly. Take the "learn and earn" quizzes to boost your points, then redeem them for major discount coupons at national retailers.

If you sign up for these offers, you may want to create a new email account to avoid spam in your regular inbox.
