    What's inside your Greek yogurt?

Before you stock up, here's what you need to know about what's really inside those containers labeled 'Greek.'
Grocery stores have been making extra shelf space and just about every dairy manufacturer is trying to get in on the Greek yogurt craze. Before you stock up, here's what you need to know about what's really inside those containers labeled 'Greek.'

If you are constantly dreaming about French fries, cheeseburgers, pizza and fried chicken it could be that you're deficient in healthy fats. It sounds odd, but America Now Wellness Expert Peggy Hall says that could be the case.

"When you try to cut out fats altogether, your body senses the deprivation and goes into overdrive," Peggy explains.

We need healthy fats for many functions in our body:

 - Our brain, skin and hormones all require fat in order to function, repair and rebuild properly
 - Healthy fat helps the body absorb fat-soluble vitamins, like Vitamin A and D
 - Dietary fat helps us feel full longer because it takes longer to digest
 - Fat gives a satisfying texture and flavor to food
 - Fat is even required to burn fat, because it's necessary for a healthy, functioning metabolism

To keep the unhealthy fat cravings away, Peggy recommends the following:

 - On a daily basis, be sure to eat at least three servings of healthy fat. For example, one serving would be: two whole eggs instead of just egg whites; 1/4 cup of raw, unsalted nuts; two tablespoons of nut butter; one teaspoon of real butter (organic is best) or mayonnaise; 1/2 avocado, 10 olives, one tablespoon of olive oil or coconut oil.

- Once a week, enjoy your favorite indulgence of one treat, like a serving of fries or a small piece of cheesecake.

Peggy says that you might be surprised to find out that after getting healthy fats on a daily basis, your cravings for the fatty, fried foods will become a thing of the past.

"When you start including these essential fats into your diet on a daily basis, your physical cravings for fatty, fried foods will drop by the wayside almost overnight," Peggy says. "And in time, the unhealthy fatty foods will start to lose their appeal altogether."
